The concept for this series is that every art pieces can create one larger masterpiece that you can read the whole meaning, relive or discover the person's own lifetime. One artwork has 30 2" x 2" inch squared papers to represent a decade, city, state(s), country(or countries), categories, quotes, etc. Each little art pieces, (made with sharpie markers, oil markers, pens, or cutouts from paint swatches,) contains either having a logo, symbol(s), a word, or a quote that contain a clue or a meaning inside of the small art piece.

I AM Collection

The two most powerful words are "I AM." Using mixed media with leftover paints on paper and cutouts, it gives an impression of adding true meaning of "I AM" with one or more words into an art piece.

Story

Joseph Michael Vidal was born in Arlington, Virginia and later moved to Florida when he was seven years old. He started drawing at the age of two while he was later diagnosed with autism at the age of three. He draws and paints abstract shapes, colors, logos, ads, book covers, cards, and many more. Later he was introduced to the computer which became his best tool for his ideas grow. He graduated at Broward College for his degree on Graphic Design and would later transfer to FAU (Florida Atlantic University) for his bachelor’s degree in Art Studio.He is a proud founding member of Artists with Autism, enjoying the opportunity to be independent, “Doing what he loves and loving what does.” He is the illustrator of two published books: “The Book For your Future” and “Success Express”. He is featured in the book; The Art of Autism: Shifting
Perceptions by Debra Hosseini. But, his big dream is to become a cartoonist, inspired by his mentor and best friend, former Disney animator, Al Baruch.
His favorite quote is: “I may have autism, but autism, will not have me.”
